Whole New Challenge
Working with graphic novels presents a unique challenge for audiobook narrators, as the story is primarily visual. I didn’t even know you could put graphic novels into audio, but Abby’s process helped turn that uncertainty into a groundbreaking experience. She not only lent her voice to the characters but helped me restructure the story to fit the audio medium. During the interview I spoke about my experience in working with her:
“You’re way more than just a voice producer,” I explained, “you’ve helped me restructure this so that it could be an audiobook, which I find really amazing.”
